Supporting Interventions Community Partners
The Supporting Interventions aspect of the CCVS grant program is aimed at broader approaches that promote innovation in the field of victim services and related service delivery. Of particular interest is the desire to identify, develop and/or support new models or approaches that engage historically underserved populations and strengthen the work of CCVS Direct Service grantees. Our current Supporting Interventions Community Partners are highlighted below.
Denver Health/Denver Foundation – Public Health for Public Safety
This project intends to carry out research and disseminate findings that will enhance understanding of crime survivors’ key needs and the challenges they experience related to accessing health and social services. In addition, convening crime survivors, and other cross-sector stakeholders and community providers to promote best practices and increase cultural and gender responsiveness among service providers; facilitate coordinated efforts among and between community-led services and crime survivors; and support individuals and agencies to better serve historically underserved crime victims.

Voces Unidas for Justice – Finding a Healing Way
The intention of the proposal project is to produce findings to support the field of victim services in identifying trauma informed, culturally embedded and gender responsive strategies with practical service application. Voces Unidas for Justice is a cultural organization rooted in the Latinx community. With a mission to support victims of violence and injustice, such as domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault, which also includes community violence.
